We have secured an extremely small and rare supply of ex-Whisky barrels available at the moment (only 6 of these 100 Litre Oak Single Fill Whisky Barrels available).
These barrels originally started off 6 x 100L Hillrock Estate Distillery Single Malt Whisky - American Oak Barrels filled at the famous Hillrock Estate Distillery on the family farm in Ancram, New York State, USA. These 100L barrels have held and matured some of America’s finest single malt whisky winning multiple awards and accolades (95.5 Points from Jim Murray's Whisky Bible and Wine Enthusiast Whisky of the Year).
Know more for their high quality bourbon, Hillrock Estate Distillery is now at the forefront of the field-to-bottle movement, and the whisky matured in these barrels is their first offering that's been naturally grown, malted and distilled on site. This is a single-fill barrel meaning it has only held one fill of Hillrock Estate Single Malt Whisky. That leaves not only the pure taste of the whisky, but also some residual American Oak flavours for its next fill. These are in extremely limited supply across the world.

Marketing Notice - Buyer Beware!
These barrels have spent their first fill of their long life holding Hillrock Whisky.
The Hillrock Estate Distillery, Malthouse and Farm grow and floor malt their own Rye and Barley and make hand crafted spirits in their 250 gallon copper pot still. Hillrock is proud to be one of the few “field-to-glass” whiskey producers in the world and the first USA distillery since before Prohibition to floor malt and hand craft whiskey on site from estate grown grain. Hillrock’s commitment to quality embodies the rich history of artisanal distilling in the Hudson Valley. By controlling every aspect of production from planting & harvesting heirloom grains, to smoking our malt, to crafting whiskies in our copper pot still, to aging in small oak barrels and hand bottling, we are able to create the highest quality whiskies reflecting the unique local terroir.
Logos may be shaved from the barrels and under no circumstances are customers allowed to leverage or use the former distillers names in the marketing of their own beverages should you be a commercial brewer or distiller who is keen to use their barrels. By all means you are allowed store your beer or spirit in these barrels and give them another generous life and your allowed to market the story but you are NOT ALLOWED to mention any brand(s) that formerly housed amazing wine or spirit in these wonderful barrels.
