No comparison with dried peel, Anhydra uses a low temperature drying process, gently removing moisture from oranges by circulating hot air around it. This process preserves oranges’ aromas, essential oils and peel bitterness. This natural process retains the food’s nutrients, the intensity of its flavours and the accuracy of its colours. No preservatives, processing aids or seasonings are added during production.
The care taken in drying naturally the oranges makes them more potent than other dried oranges or orange peel on the market greatly reducing quantity needed to infuse a good flavour/aroma and, more importantly, ensures brewers of consistent results from batch to batch.
It takes 8 Kgs of oranges (about 48 oranges) to make 1 kg of Anhydra’s dehydrated Oranges.
