Gladfield Biscuit malt is made by gently roasting kilned dried Gladfield Ale malt. The resulting malt is ideal in small amounts for Light/Mild Ales and Bitters to give a dry finish to the beer without too much colour.

I really like this Biscuit malt in English Bitters. I made a very pale bitter with Gladfield Ale and Vienna with around 8% Biscuit and I find it really did dry out. For the first few weeks I thought I had overdone it, but after a month in the Keg the beer has really settled out nicely.
