No comparison with dried Lime peel, Anhydra uses a low temperature drying process, gently removing moisture from limes by circulating hot air around them. This process preserves limes’ aromas, essential oils and peel bitterness. This natural process retains the Limes nutrients, the intensity of their flavours and the accuracy of their colours. No preservatives, processing aids or seasonings are added during production.
The care taken in drying naturally the limes makes them more potent than other dried limes or lime peel on the market greatly reducing quantity needed to infuse a good flavour/aroma and, more importantly, ensures brewers of consistent results from batch to batch.
It takes 8 Kgs of limes (about 180 limes) to make 1 kg of Anhydra’s dehydrated limes
