Port | Vlavour™ is made from Victorian tawny from a well established family winery operating since 1921 in the famous fortified region of Victoria.  This super premium port is distilled under vacuum at low temperature into a flavour that will take your dark spirits to the next level.

Positive Attributes:

The Victorian Tawny is Medium garnet/tawny colour with orange/red tints. The nose displays sweet scents with distinct tawny character. On the palate there are sweet fruit flavours combined with developed porty characters. Hints of rancio. Well integrated spirit. Clean fresh finish. This vacuum distilled Port Vlavour can bring the depth and character of a wood aged fortified wine to your premium beverages.

Flavour:

Has a medium tannic backbone with notes of ripe raspberry and blackberry. Dried fruit, caramel and dark chocolate on the mid palette.

Usage Guidance:

  • Additions of between 10 and 20g g/l of Port Vlavour will impart a sophisticated barrel aged flavour in your dark spirit of choice.
  • Typical addition rates: 0.5 to 5g per 1 Kg of finished beverage (0.05% - 0.5%)
  • Note: Recommended addition not to exceed 20g of Vlavour Vacuum Distillate per 1Kg of finished product
  • Add as close to final packaging as possible to maximise aromatic retention in final beverage.
