I bought these jugs for soap making as they seemed very sturdy, had a good wide surface area and not too deep for the mixer. They are just right. As a bonus they pour extremely well.

As someone moving from small-batch stovetop brewing, the Grainfather G40 has been a game-changer. The system handles mashing, boiling, and chilling with a consistency I could never achieve on a stove, while the app makes recipe management and monitoring effortless. I could pop in and out of the house at various times and still track progress remotely. This is randomly specific, but when the power in our street temporarily died, I was able to pick up exactly where I left off without any issues.
I had a few initial setup hiccups connecting the G40 controller to the iPhone app, but support was responsive and proactive, and the app has since been fixed. It’s rare to find a company so proactive about improving both their product and user experience!
Cleaning is surprisingly easy, and the automation frees up time to focus on experimenting and enjoying the brewing process.
I feel like I have a personal brewery at home 🍻

1) clean
2) rinse
3) sanitise
StellaSan is a sanitiser but you need to clean with PBW or similar before you sanitise!

PBW: because apparently, I like scrubbing my brew kettle for hours. Yeah, nah, this stuff basically does all the work while I sit back and question my life choices. Hop gunk, malt residue, mysterious sticky spots? Gone. My equipment is now so clean it makes me feel a little bad for ever letting it get dirty in the first place.

I had a great experience brewing the Viper XPA kit — it was easy to brew and produced a beer with excellent hop flavours and aromas that really showcase what an XPA should be. The hop character was bright and fruity, and the finished beer was enjoyable and well-balanced from a sensory perspective.

I’m really happy with my Chubby Apollo 30L Pressure Fermenter! It was easy to assemble, use, and clean. The wide lid makes access a breeze, and the integrated handles are useful when it’s full. I just finished my first batch and everything went smoothly. Definitely a solid, user-friendly fermenter that delivers great results. Highly recommend.
