BLACK FRIDAY | CYBER MONDAY

Black Friday and Cyber Monday (BFCM) refer to a shopping period with significant discounts and promotions offered by many retailers.   

• Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving in the United States, which falls on the fourth Friday in November. In 2024, Black Friday is on November 29th.   
• Cyber Monday is the Monday following Black Friday, so this year it will be on December 2nd.   

While Black Friday originated in the US, it has become a global phenomenon, including in Australia.  Although traditionally Black Friday deals were mainly in physical stores and Cyber Monday was for online deals, this distinction has blurred and now most retailers offer deals both online and in-store for the whole period.
