Golden Syrup for Tripel

Simplicity was out of stock so tried this on an otherwise all pils Tripel. Didn't add too much color which is what I was after.
Smelled & tasted great out of pack as expected.

This was the first time

This was the first time I brewed a proper Belgian using Candi Syrup. It is hard to define what it added but the Belgian ness (?) was certainly more on point than without it. It seems to have left an impact on mouthfeel and a subtle sweetness to the aftertaste. Certainly worth a try if your Belgians haven't quite hit the mark.
