A copper pot still low wine produced from the stripping run of a grain mash. Distilled once through copper, these low wines provide a ready to redistil starting point for distilleries looking to increase production without undertaking the initial stripping run themselves.
At approximately 25% ABV, the low wines provide flexibility for distillers to manage their own second distillation, make their own cuts and recycle feints according to their preferred production process.
Farm Provenance
Produced by Shaws Distillery, a 100% independent, family owned farm to bottle distillery in Gippsland, Victoria.
The grain used to produce these low wines is grown and harvested on the Shaws farm, giving the spirit a direct connection to its agricultural origin. From growing the grain through to malting, mashing, fermentation and distillation, production is carried out at the farm and distillery in Gippsland.
This genuine grain to glass provenance gives distillers the opportunity to build a spirit with a clearly defined agricultural origin and a traceable connection to the farm where it began.

Appearance
Light blue and cloudy in appearance, resulting from copper contact during distillation and naturally occurring oils carried through the distillation process.

Underbond excisable product — available only to appropriately licensed excise manufacturers.
Excise duty has not been paid on this product. It is supplied underbond for further distillation and is not intended for direct consumption.
The buyer must hold an appropriate ATO Excise Manufacturing Licence and have the necessary arrangements in place to receive the product under the applicable excise requirements. Movement of the product is subject to the required ATO movement permission.
BeerCo will collect the relevant licensing information and facilitate the introduction between the buyer and Shaws Distillery before the sale proceeds.

BeerCo Pty Ltd acts as a marketplace broker and introductory agent for this product. BeerCo does not take ownership or physical possession of the product.
The sale is directly between Shaws Distillery Pty Ltd, and the approved buyer. Shaws Distillery will issue the final invoice and receive payment directly from the buyer.
Freight and underbond movement arrangements will be coordinated by Shaws Distillery in accordance with the applicable excise requirements.
