Various French Oak Charred Barriques from different French Cooperages, these previously held red wine in them before being shave toasted and recharred and filled with Starward Single Malt.
These barrels impart lovely notes of cinnamon, spice and apple studle to our spirit which will also influence the next liquid that goes into these. These barrels have only been filled once so you will see an elegant balance of oak and liquid influence on what you put into these.
They would be equivalent to a French style ex bourbon cask.

These barrels have spent the greater part of their life housing premium International Fine French Red Wine and Single Malt Australian Whisky.  The logos may or may not be shaved from the barrels prior to shipping and under no circumstances are customers allowed to leverage or use the former winemakers and/or distillers name in the marketing of their own beverages should you be a commercial brewer or distiller who is keen to use these barrels for commercial spirits or beer.  By all means you are allowed to store and age your beer and/or spirit in these barrels and give them another generous life and your allowed to market the story of your product but you are NOT ALLOWED to mention any brand(s) that formerly housed amazing wine in these wonderful barrels.
