EKG

While EKG is an obvious choice for any English ale, it also fits in well in other styles. I use it as a bittering hop in my Little Creatures style Pale Ale followed by Cascade and Galaxy later in the boil. It seems to add a pleasant, smooth bitterness to the flavour and aroma of the hops added later in the boil. I also use it at knockout in a California Common where it restrains the more pungent aroma of Northern Brewer. I try to always have some EKG in stock.

Hey Mike,
Tanks again for your wonderful reviews and thoughts on EKG. You raise some very good points and observations about the versatility of EKG! No wonder it is still a beery popular hop! cheers #brewhoppy #brewhappy always

Great for Stouts

First batch turned out very nice. Great price and service.

Tanks Larry B,

I think you were luck to grab a #steal and #deal on the last harvest. We like to stock #freshies and you can't go past good old #EKG when it comes to Stouts eh!
