Here's some knowledge for you...about excessive escalator excise tax on alcohol in Australia using some big name brands:
24 x 375mL Stubbies of Victoria Bitter = $26.51 excise tax
700mL Bundaberg Rum = $26.38 excise tax
And let us not forget about 10% GST! and the fact that excise tax will go up by inflation again on 1st of August - Ouch! Next time you go to your local bottlo your handing over up to 60% of your hard earned to the government in tax to pay for your pleasure!
